Job summary

CMI Architecture, Milton Keynes, seeks an experienced Project Architect and Architectural Technologist to join our team. You will produce detailed technical drawings, contribute to planning applications, and work with a design team to ensure regulatory compliance across projects.

Applicants should have UK practice experience and ARB/RIBA/MCIAT membership. The role offers potential for hybrid working and career progression within a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UK architectural practice.
• Proven track record delivering projects across all RIBA work stages.
• Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant software.
• Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations and materials.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• SketchUp knowledge is advantageous.
• Membership of ARB / RIBA / MCIAT is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Prepare planning applications and associated drawings.
• Collaborate with architects and design team members.
• Coordinate information with external consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and standards.
• Assist with tender documentation and contract administration.
• Mentor junior team members where required.
