Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the CSNP delivery and provide PMO leadership across the EN Programme Management team. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, matrix-manage project managers, and oversee governance, risk, and change management to ensure successful delivery of the Centralised Strategic Network Plan programme.

The role requires experience in managing high-profile programmes, strong governance and data-management

Qualifications

Experience developing and delivering programme and project management standards.
Proven ability to lead externally facing, high-profile programmes in engineering/energy/regulatory contexts.
Experience leading PMO teams and refining project management methods.
Experience implementing governance and assurance frameworks.
Proficiency with project planning and reporting tools and strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of project managers to ensure high-quality CSNP delivery and governance.
Oversee all phases of CSNP delivery, identify constraints, risks and issues, and drive mitigations.
Manage scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables through SEP Change Management.
Ensure governance/assurance frameworks are effective and audits are addressed.
Provide detailed programme status reports to stakeholders and governance groups.
