Job summary

Apollo, Havant-based manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Engineer to join our Process Engineering team. You will support day-to-day manufacturing operations, resolve production issues, and drive practical process improvements to increase safety, quality, cost and delivery.

You'll work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to sustain performance and champion a culture of continuous improvement, delivering tangible benefits across the business.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Exposure to Lean/continuous improvement principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production, resolving process, equipment, quality and performance issues.
• Manage and close production call outs, ensuring timely resolution of production-related issues.
• Maintain and update SOPs, Flow Charts, work instructions and other manufacturing documentation.
• Support the implementation of MCDs, ECOs and process changes on the shop floor.
• Lead and support Lean-based continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to support operational performance and compliance.
