Apollo Fire Detectors Ltd. in Havant, UK, is recruiting a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing, drive process improvements and ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to resolve issues, implement changes on the shop floor and sustain continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production, resolving process, equipment, quality and performance issues.
• Manage and close production call outs, ensuring timely resolution of production-related issues.
• Maintain and update SOPs, Flow Charts, work instructions and other manufacturing documentation.
• Support the implementation of MCDs, ECOs and process changes on the shop floor.
• Lead and support continuous improvement activities using Lean and structured problem-solving techniques to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Investigate production, customer complaint and non-conformance issues, identifying and implementing corrective actions.
