Job summary

Apollo Fire Detectors is recruiting a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Havant site. You will provide technical engineering support to resolve production issues, drive improvements and ensure safe, efficient processes that meet customer demand.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to sustain performance and deliver continuous improvements across the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production, resolving process, equipment, quality and performance issues.
• Manage and close production call outs, ensuring timely resolution of production-related issues.
• Maintain and update SOPs, Flow Charts, work instructions and other manufacturing documentation.
• Support the implementation of MCDs, ECOs and process changes on the shop floor.
• Lead and support continuous improvement activities using Lean and structured problem-solving techniques to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Investigate production, customer complaint and non-conformance issues, identifying and implementing corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to support operational performance and compliance.
