Job summary

AXA Health is seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join the team on a 12 month FTC. You will review quote requests, ensure data completeness, and prepare large corporate quotes for underwriting, reporting to the Large Corporate Portfolio Manager.

You will liaise with Intermediary Distribution and Account Managers, handle administrative tasks, and develop underwriting skills in a collaborative environment, with a smart-working hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer services role.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative abilities.
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player able to work under pressure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Enter large corporate quotes into the system and check for compliance or risk issues.
• Manage the quote inbox and work queue with Account Managers and Intermediaries.
• Check and question information, raising concerns with underwriters when needed.
• Assist underwriters with administrative tasks to keep processes running.
• Support onboarding new schemes and help price both simple and more complex products.
