Job summary

AXA UK is seeking an Assistant Underwriter for its AXA Health team on a 12-month FTC. You will support large corporate quotes, liaise with intermediaries, and help prepare underwriting submissions. The position involves a mix of office and field activities with structured training and a path to developing underwriting skills. Eligible to work in the United Kingdom is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter large corporate quotes into the system and check for compliance or risk issues.
• Manage the quote inbox and work queue, coordinating with Account Managers and Intermediaries to meet deadlines.
• Review information from Account Managers and Intermediaries and raise concerns with underwriters when needed.
• Assist underwriters with administrative tasks to keep processes running smoothly.
• Resolve issues with quote requests or information while maintaining professional communication with intermediaries.
• Assist with onboarding new schemes and support pricing of simple insurance and non-insurance products, including training new team members.
