Job summary

Contract Scotland is partnering with a Stirling-based construction and development business to recruit an experienced Pre-Construction Commercial Manager.

You will lead the commercial management of projects in pre-construction and bidding stages, delivering competitive tenders, cost plans and value engineering, while working closely with the Pre-Construction Director, Bid Manager, clients and supply chain partners.

Qualifications

• Significant estimating, quantity surveying or pre-construction experience.
• Experience in residential construction or related sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to identify risk/opportunity.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects and tenders from opportunity through to contract award.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, budgets and tender submissions.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Work with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong supply chain relationships.
• Support gateways, bid approvals and commercial handovers.
