Anne Corder Recruitment is working with a modern, friendly accountancy practice seeking an ambitious Practice Accountant to join a small, close-knit team. The role covers statutory accounts, personal and corporation tax returns, bookkeeping and client liaison in a varied portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice is required.
• Part-qualified, fully qualified or recently qualified candidates welcome.
• Experience handling statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Strong accounts and tax knowledge with high accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Complete personal and corporation tax returns.
• Assist with VAT returns and bookkeeping.
• Act as a key contact for clients and manage relationships.
• Ensure records are accurate and deadlines are met.
• Support the wider practice with general accounting work.
