Job summary

The University of St Andrews invites applications for a Plumber to join the Estates maintenance team. You will contribute to the operation and maintenance of heating and hot water systems, overseeing gas installations in domestic and commercial settings across historic and modern buildings.

The role involves reactive and planned maintenance, high workmanship standards, and strict health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, repair, servicing, maintenance, testing and monitoring of plumbing, heating and gas systems.
• Experience of domestic and commercial gas installations in modern and historic buildings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heating, hot water and mechanical plant across the University Estate.
• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance with a high standard of workmanship.
• Ensure strict compliance with all Health and Safety legislation.
