Job summary

The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Plumber, Heating Engineer or Gas Engineer to join its large Mechanical Services team on a full-time basis. You will work on campus in the city centre, focusing on domestic gas training and qualification as part of your development.

The role involves hot and cold water distribution systems, LEV, air conditioning first fix, and handling training for ACS registration of domestic gas.

Qualifications

• Time served plumber/heating/gas engineer.
• Willing to train for ACS registration of domestic gas.

Responsibilities

• Work on Glasgow campus as part of Mechanical Services team.
• Maintain hot & cold water distribution systems and LEV and air conditioning first fix.
• Training and mentoring will be provided for areas you don’t have experience with.
