Job summary

ITV plc in London is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer in the Core Team. You will work on the Common Platform, building automated IaC templates and scalable cloud infrastructure to support ITV's software development.

The role involves coordinating with Embedded Platform Engineers and communicating platform changes through workshops and coaching sessions. You will implement Terraform-based infrastructure, manage Kubernetes deployments in AWS, maintain monitoring tooling, and participate in PR

Qualifications

• Experience building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (prefer AWS).
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Proven container orchestration with Kubernetes and related tooling.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
• Monitoring/alerting and incident response experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement IaC with Terraform and Common Platform tooling.
• Prioritise upgrades and assist engineers with deployment and production issues.
• Review and approve PRs for infrastructure changes and permissions.
• Maintain Core Platform infrastructure (Grafana, GitHub runners, etc.).
• Manage Kubernetes deployments in AWS and plan future infrastructure.
• Share best practices and contribute improvements within the team.
• Travel to London monthly to collaborate with the team.
