ITV is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join the Central Data Team in a hybrid setup with locations in London or Manchester. The role focuses on delivering and maintaining a data platform that powers analytics, ML, and data governance at ITV.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, architects, and end users to design scalable data products, ensure security, and automate platform capabilities for self-service while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms (preferably GCP).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, containerisation, automation and monitoring tools.
• Experience using version control tools (Git).
• Experience designing, building and operating highly available, highly scalable systems.
• Understanding of data platforms and tooling in the data domain.
• Working knowledge of Unix based OS (Mac/Linux).

• Deliver the technical implementation of the data platform, collaborating with product owners, architects, and end users.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to design, build and maintain Data Products delivering analytical data to users.
• Solve interesting and difficult technical challenges.
