Job summary

WSP is seeking Planning Engineers to join our PMCM planning & scheduling team, delivering planning and project controls across UK infrastructure programmes. You will work with project managers, engineers and delivery partners to develop and maintain robust programmes for rail, energy and utilities projects, enabling on-time delivery and value for clients.

You will bring established planning expertise, experience in multidisciplinary teams, and a drive to advance your career within a leading

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling within infrastructure, construction, energy or rail environments.
• Develop programmes from first principles and maintain project schedules with standard tools.
• Experience in integrated project teams and delivering complex projects.
• Understanding of project lifecycles, programme management and project controls including EVM.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret project data.
• Excellent client communication and ability to run planning workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to programme reporting, change/risk management and NEC schedule assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining robust programmes for major infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, commercial and delivery partners.
• Support delivery of planning, scheduling and project controls services.
• Contribute to performance analysis and schedule narratives.
• Participate in planning workshops and client reviews.
