Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to support Employee Relations. You will handle escalated Tier 1 queries, manage HR casework, and ensure processes comply with policy and standards.

Based in Epsom or Birmingham, you will work three days a week on site, with hybrid arrangements that support delivery and service quality across the organisation. This role offers opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement of people processes and data quality through

Qualifications

• Experience in HR operations or employee relations is preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Strong IT literacy and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage escalated queries from the Tier 1 People Hub with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support HR processes, policy inquiries and other straightforward HR matters.
• Maintain and update HR records in systems with attention to data protection.
• Triaging cases, monitoring queues, and escalating high‑risk items as needed.
• Support reservist mobilisation, training absence, and absence management processes.
• Assist with the Conflict of Interest process and documentation.
• Take notes in complex meetings and support the wider team as required.
• Collaborate with People Operations and HR teams to ensure consistent service.
• Prioritise workload to ensure timely delivery of activities and processes.
