Job summary

Adaptable Recruitment is recruiting for an Operational Pension Administrator in Liverpool to join a well-established financial services organisation, offering a clear path to progression. The role covers operational administration, adviser support, workflow management, complaint handling and process improvement, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Candidates with SIPP/SSAS experience will fit in well; the team operates in a hybrid pattern with training and funding

Qualifications

• Experience in pensions administration, SIPP, SSAS or financial services operations.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience with complaints handling and FCA rules is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process changes across pension schemes and keep records accurate.
• Administer Terms of Business (TOB) agreements and adviser changes.
• Support complaint handling processes and regulatory deadlines.
• Manage operational workflows and shared mailboxes.
• Monitor outstanding cases and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain high accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality assurance, audits and compliance.
• Respond to adviser, client and internal queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
