Job summary

Adaptable Recruitment is seeking an Operational Pension Administrator in Liverpool with a hybrid working pattern. The role focuses on SIPP/SSAS administration, processing changes, adviser support, and regulatory compliance.

You will support complaints handling, regulatory deadlines, and workflow management within a growing financial services environment, delivering accurate outcomes for advisers and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in pensions administration, SIPP, SSAS, or financial services operations.
• Understanding of regulated environments and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with complaints handling and regulatory processes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process changes across pension schemes and keep records accurate.
• Administer TOB agreements and adviser changes.
• Support complaints handling, investigations and deadlines.
• Manage workflows, queues and shared mailboxes.
• Monitor outstanding cases and escalate risks when needed.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance across activities.
• Support QA, audits and compliance processes.
• Respond to adviser, client and internal queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
