Job summary

PE Global Care Connect is seeking an experienced Area Service & Positive Behaviour Support Manager to lead safe, person-centred delivery of specialist support in Cumbria. This full-time role offers a hybrid model and focuses on individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

You will oversee a dedicated team, deliver PBS coaching, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to CQC outstanding standards while promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology, or Health & Social Care.
• Level 5 Health & Social Management or equivalent.
• Experience as Care Manager or Team Leader with challenging behaviours.
• Strong admin, organisational, and data-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small team of support workers and coordinators.
• Ensure PBS strategies and behaviour support plans are implemented.
• Plan staff rotas, manage on-call arrangements, and monitor staffing levels.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and governance in line with CQC.
