Alexander Lloyd is seeking a Specialist Payroll Officer for a hybrid role in Weybridge. The position involves end-to-end payroll management, resolving complex queries, and ensuring compliance across PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance to produce payroll reports and drive process improvements. The role supports a busy payroll team with immediate start and a temporary contract of up to 6 months, requiring a proactive problem-solver who can deliver

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end payroll experience.
• Excellent knowledge of PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments.
• Experience resolving complex payroll issues.
• Payroll reconciliations and reporting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer service skills.
• Payroll systems experience, ideally within a larger or complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end payroll activities
• Investigating and resolving complex payroll queries and discrepancies
• Completing payroll reconciliations, audits and compliance checks
• Supporting PAYE, pensions, statutory payments and HMRC-related processes
• Producing payroll reports and management information
• Working closely with HR, Finance and key stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency
• Supporting colleagues with technical payroll knowledge and best practice
