Job summary

Berg Kaprow Lewis LLP in London is seeking a Client Payroll Senior to oversee accurate, compliant client payroll processing within a hybrid working model (minimum 3 days in the office).

You will manage complex payroll systems, stay updated on regulatory changes, advise on tax, National Insurance and pension matters, and support improvements in payroll processes to enhance client service.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic payroll processes and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience using Excel for managing and organising data.
• Understanding various regulatory requirements and NI contributions

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of client payrolls.
• Ensure all payroll activities are compliant with current legislation and internal policies.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex payroll systems and processes.
• Stay up to date with changes in statutory regulations affecting payroll.
• Perform and review payroll calculations to ensure accuracy.
• Advise clients on payroll-related issues, including: Tax regulations and obligations, National Insurance contributions, Pension schemes and auto-enrolment, Allowances and levies and General compliance matters.
• Provide expert guidance on resolving payroll challenges and queries.
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and client service delivery.
