Reed is hiring a Payroll Coordinator in Harrogate on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is hybrid, with salary £27-30,000 DOE. You will handle end-to-end payroll, ensure compliance with PAYE/NIC rules, and manage payslips, pensions, and payroll reports.

Ideal candidates will have strong payroll experience, accuracy, and the ability to work under deadlines. The position includes 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and on-site parking in a central location.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll experience including starters and leavers.
• Up-to-date knowledge of PAYE/NIC regulations.
• Experience handling pay-related queries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input payroll data.
• Perform minimum wage compliance checks.
• Reconcile payroll numbers and pensions administration.
• Produce and distribute payslips, P45s, and P60s.
• Generate payroll reports and KPI data.
• Calculate holiday pay for variable staff.
• Maintain payroll records.
• Respond to staff payroll queries.
• Prepare overtime templates and mileage records.
• Monitor payroll KPIs across group companies.
• Submit payroll statistics to the Office for National Statistics.
• Assist Payroll Manager as required.
