Job summary

TC Group is seeking a Payroll Assistant to support a diverse client portfolio across seven Scottish offices. The role offers hybrid and flexible working after probation, with 20–35 hours per week and a salary on a pro rata basis. Part-time or full-time considered.

The successful candidate will process payrolls across weekly to monthly cycles, maintain data accuracy, support pension administration and HMRC compliance, and deliver excellent client service within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience processing payrolls (weekly, monthly) for multiple clients.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with good problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Process payrolls accurately across weekly, four-weekly, monthly cycles.
• Collect, validate and securely exchange payroll data.
• Support pension administration and HMRC Auto Enrolment compliance.
• Provide excellent client service and respond to payroll queries.
• Collaborate with payroll team to meet deadlines and standards.
• Own assigned payrolls and maintain accuracy and accountability.
