Job summary

Sharp Consultancy are partnering with a well-established business based in Harrogate looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. You will work within a team of 3 to help manage the end-to-end payroll function for the business.

The role covers data entry, payroll processing, pensions administration, and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. You will have strong communication skills and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within payroll administration.
• Well organised with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Microsoft proficient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input payroll data for processing.
• Perform payroll reconciliation and ensure accuracy.
• Administer pensions auto-enrolment and related tasks.
• Produce payroll reports for management.
• Calculate holiday pay for staff.
• Handle payroll queries from employees in a timely manner.
• Conduct minimum wage checks and ensure compliance.
