Job summary

Sage is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Payments Platform roadmap for Payments In and Payments Out from our Newcastle hub. You will prioritise provider integrations, design clean APIs and embeddable UI components, and align with legal and compliance teams to navigate PSD2, Open Banking and regional rules.

You will drive adoption across internal product teams, manage complex stakeholder expectations, and push for scalable solutions that support billions of transactions globally.

Qualifications

• Experience owning platform or infrastructure products for internal teams.
• Ability to prioritise across multiple internal stakeholders.
• Experience with payments, financial services, or API integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the global Payments In/Payments Out platform roadmap.
• Design APIs and embeddable UI to simplify integration for internal teams.
• Prioritise provider integrations based on market demand and internal needs.
• Collaborate with legal/compliance on PSD2, Open Banking, and data residency.
• Drive migration from legacy payment handling to the platform.
