Job summary

Realm Recruit is assisting a well-established North West firm near Burnley to recruit a 5+ PQE Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to handle wills, probate and estate planning for high-net-worth clients across the region.

You will join a thriving Private Client team with a clear route to progression, flexible working options (2 days working from home; option to compress hours into 4 days; part-time 4 days/week considered) and a supportive, collaborative environment that values mentoring

Qualifications

• 5+ PQE Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• Experienced in managing a mixed private client caseload with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record advising HNW clients and handling complex estates.
• STEP qualified (preferred but not essential).
• Personable, client-focused, and collaborative; commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload comprising roughly 60% probate and 40% wills work.
• Advising on estate planning and administration, wills, trusts, and tax-efficient strategies.
• Working with succession planning for family businesses and HNW individuals.
• Supporting the wider team’s growth through mentoring and collaboration.
