Job summary

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Services Ltd in Norwich is looking for an experienced Finance Officer (Part-Time) to own the day-to-day financial operations. The role offers hybrid working and flexible hours, with pro rata salary dependent on experience.

You will manage invoicing, credit control, payroll, cash flow, and financial reporting, using Xero and Excel, and work closely with senior leadership and external accountants.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally in an SME.
• Strong knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with payroll, credit control and reconciliations.
• Good understanding of VAT and PAYE compliance.
• Excellent organisation and deadline management skills.
• Proactive, practical approach with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Managing sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing and credit control.
• Processing supplier payments, expenses and card reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate records in Xero and setting up new clients/suppliers.
• Processing monthly payroll, contractor invoicing and payments.
• Producing weekly cash position and monthly management accounts.
