Lincoln Brown and Co in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper on a part-time basis with flexible hybrid working. Initially three days per week, two days in the office for the first two months, then a minimum of one day per week in the office with potential additional days as needed.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio, including VAT returns, bank reconciliations, journals, and ledger maintenance, while liaising directly with clients to meet

Competenze

• Minimum of two years' bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in an accountancy firm or practice preferred.
• Desirable but not essential: recognised bookkeeping or accounting qualification.

Mansioni

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Record, post and reconcile bank transactions.
• Prepare and post manual journals.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines; handle ad hoc bookkeeping tasks.
• Assist with occasional secretarial/administrative matters.
