Job summary

Optima Health, the UK's leading occupational health provider, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to cover the South East region on a hybrid basis (home-based with clinic/site visits around Brighton and nearby areas).

You will conduct clinic/workplace assessments, advise on return‑to‑work strategies, and travel within the defined region, with remote admin tasks on non-travel days. A strong OT background and HCPC registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Occupational Therapist experience.
• Full registration with the HCPC.
• Eligible for BAOT membership.
• BSc in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Knowledge of ergonomics and functional capacity evaluation.
• Understanding of governance and risk management.
• Ability to manage workload with strong organisation and planning.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel within the regional area.

Responsibilities

• Advise on functional capacity, job demands, ergonomics and rehab for employees.
• Be professionally and legally responsible for own workload.
• Provide expert OT consultancy on issues and training.
• Contribute to development of Optima's OT service regionally and nationally.
• Work with diverse client contracts including blue/white collar and government.
