Job summary

Wood is seeking a Shutdown Planner for a full-time role based in Aberdeen. The position offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home, with a permanent staff or contract arrangement.

The role focuses on producing investment cost estimates for offshore/onshore development projects, ensuring accuracy of cost structures, validating third-party estimates, gathering inputs from Professional Areas, and updating cost databases for cross-project analyses.

Qualifications

• Produce investment cost estimates for offshore/onshore development projects.
• Ensure accuracy of cost structures and cost estimates.
• Validate estimates produced by Contractors or Third parties.
• Gather and consolidate contributions from Professional Areas for cost completeness.

Responsibilities

• Produce investment cost estimates for offshore/onshore development projects during project phases and input into plan and budget.
• Ensure accuracy of cost structures and estimates.
• Validate estimates produced by Contractors or Third parties.
• Gather and consolidate contributions from Professional Areas for cost completeness.
• Update methods/tools for execution/validation of cost estimates.
• Feed and update databases and perform cross-project analysis.
