Frazer-Nash Consultancy seeks a Methods Engineer to design, develop and maintain physics-based software for nuclear applications. You will translate mathematical methods into robust code and work closely with clients, SMEs, and a multidisciplinary team across on-site and remote settings.

The role sits in Frazer-Nash’s Nuclear Software team within Software and Digital Architecture, offering opportunities to mentor others and lead work packages while contributing to UK national security and energy

Formación

• Degree or PhD in a STEM subject.
• Experience in engineering, science or software development.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB or Fortran.
• Experience in physics-based analysis (structural/thermal/fluids/multi-physics).
• Translate mathematical methods into robust code.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with clients and technical stakeholders.
• Sole UK nationality due to security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components.
