The role applies advanced analytical techniques to understand complex nuclear systems, leading technical work packages, mentoring staff, and engaging with clients to deliver trusted consultancy across the full lifecycle. You will also contribute to business development and capability growth within your niche.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting reactor core design/operations using lattice physics, neutron kinetics, or neutron transport codes.
• Experience with transient and fault analysis within nuclear safety contexts.
• Ability to interpret, validate, and clearly explain modelling outputs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining models of nuclear plant cores and systems using industry‑standard codes.
• Analysing fault sequences, transients, and system behaviours to inform design decisions and nuclear safety cases.
• Providing authoritative interpretation of model results and underlying physical phenomena.
• Supporting model verification, validation, and best‑practice application.
• Leading a specialist capability area within the company.
• Communicating complex technical outputs clearly to clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
