Job summary

Assystem is leading the delivery of critical nuclear projects in the UK. As Building Coordinator within the Joint Design Office, you will link EDF’s NNB team with contractors, guiding design interfaces and ensuring milestones are met.

You will coordinate multi-discipline engineers, manage design changes, and support readiness reviews to maintain project schedules and technical standards.

Qualifications

• An engineering background with ability to work independently under broad supervision.
• Experience in design, drafting, or construction within an engineering context.
• Strong capability to manage complex technical issues and collaborate across teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Solid understanding of NEC contract management, CDM regulations, and using systems to keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers across multiple disciplines and ensure timely delivery of design packages.
• Align design and construction activities between JDO and major contractors.
• Manage design changes and resolve technical issues to keep progress on track.
• Support readiness reviews and help unblock multidisciplinary challenges that could impact milestones.
