Job summary

Assystem is coordinating a Building Coordinator role within the Joint Design Office for the HPC project in Bridgwater. You will link EDF Nuclear New Build with major contractors, overseeing multi-disciplinary design delivery and ensuring milestones are met.

The role requires a degreed engineer with design/construction experience, NEC/CDM knowledge, and strong communication to drive progress on this high-profile project.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent experience in engineering is essential.
• Experience in design, drafting, or construction is required.
• Solid understanding of NEC contract management and CDM regulations is expected.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers across multiple disciplines to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
• Monitor performance using key metrics and maintain high technical standards across deliverables.
• Manage design changes and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure alignment between design and construction teams and support readiness reviews.
• Act as a facilitator between EDF NNB and major contractors to keep milestones on track.
