Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor for its client in the West End, London. The role is hybrid and permanent, ideal for a lawyer with 2–4 PQE in private practice real estate or construction.

You will draft and negotiate building contracts and collateral warranties, advise on development agreements and leases, and work closely with the construction disputes team to provide integrated advice for high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' PQE, ideally at a top-tier UK private practice in real estate or construction.
• Non-contentious construction experience from a real estate perspective
• Confident drafting and negotiating appointments, collateral warranties and main JCT forms
• Experience working with real estate colleagues on purchases, disposals and lettings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, guarantees and escrow agreements
• Advise on construction aspects of development agreements, funding arrangements, agreements for lease and property transactions
• Collaborate with the construction disputes team for joined-up advice on projects
• Work with colleagues across practice groups on high-quality matters for high-profile clients
