Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group seeks a Networks & Communications Specialist in Sheffield for a hybrid role (2 days in the office, 3 days at home). You will own day-to-day networking support, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to infra projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise networks, Cisco CLI, and VoIP/UC; CCNA desirable. Travel to sites/partners may be needed. Salary £35,000-£45,000.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, routing and firewalls.
• Cisco networking / CLI experience and VoIP/unified communications knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line support across LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, routing and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues.
• Support VoIP and unified communications.
• Work with suppliers and third-party technology partners.
• Support network upgrades, changes and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, automation and efficiency.
• Work closely with wider Infrastructure and IT teams.
