Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a driven Network DevOps Engineer to modernise network management, drive automation initiatives and upskill the team within a multinational Digital Excellence function. You will design, develop and maintain production‑grade software and tools (primarily Python) to manage network infrastructure at scale, and implement CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.

The role also involves building REST and GraphQL APIs with Django REST Framework, FastAPI and Pydantic, plus Ansible automation,

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills with production‑grade software experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL API design and consumption.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software and tools for network management.
• Champion engineering standards with code reviews and unit testing.
• Establish automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Ansible.
• Develop data models and automation jobs to extend network sources of truth.
• Support and upskill team members in software engineering.
