Job summary

Client Server Limited seeks a Backend Software Engineer with strong C#/.Net and SQL skills to join a Hedge Fund technology team in London. You will develop high-performance trading systems and collaborate with quantitative researchers on valuation and pricing components.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, own projects from design to delivery, and benefit from a comprehensive compensation package and opportunities for technical ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• Academic record of excellence: minimum 2.1 in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university, with A grades at A-level.
• Advanced C# .NET skills including .NET Core; exposure to Java, Python or C++ welcome if transitioning to C#.
• Strong SQL database knowledge and fundamentals of CS (OOP, data structures, patterns, algorithms).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and ability to lead projects; collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithmic trading systems and high-performance compute pipelines.
• Collaborate with Quant teams to architect valuation, risk and pricing components.
• Own technical delivery from design to deployment and mentoring of peers.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement of the stack.
