New Forest District Council is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative Plasterer to deliver responsive repairs to its social housing stock in the New Forest area. The role requires plastering as the primary trade, with secondary trades listed on the application or CV.

You will work within an in-house team, performing planned, cyclical and reactive maintenance with a strong emphasis on quality and customer service.

Competenze

Proven experience in plastering and multi-trade maintenance work.
Ability to complete plastering, skimming, rendering and associated repairs.
Experience in other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, tiling, painting and decorating.

Mansioni

Carry out plastering, rendering and patch repairs to social housing stock as required.
Complete associated multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks.
Prepare surfaces and ensure a high-quality finish.
Identify additional repairs and report them where necessary.
Work safely, follow procedures and keep a clean, tidy workspace.
Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and contractors.
Complete work orders and required paperwork.
