Job summary

Bury Council is seeking a Multi Skilled Plasterer to join the Housing Repairs Direct Works team. You will carry out responsive repairs, planned works, voids and refurbishment across council properties, delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

This hands-on role requires an NVQ Level 2 plastering or time-served apprenticeship, a full driving licence, and the ability to work with minimal supervision and using mobile ICT systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 plastering or time-served plastering apprenticeship.
• Substantial industry experience in plastering and multi-skilled tasks.
• Knowledge of safe working procedures in high‑risk environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and focus on customer service.
• Full, valid driving licence and ability to work off-site across the borough.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive repairs, planned works, voids and refurbishment across council properties.
• Maintain quality workmanship with strong safety standards.
• Complete work documentation and use ICT/mobile systems on site.
