Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited in London is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join a Social Housing contractor. You will carry out plastering repairs and maintenance across occupied and void properties, delivering high workmanship and customer service.

The role requires previous social housing experience, strong plastering skills, and the ability to work independently. A full UK driving licence and Asbestos Awareness certification (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• Must have plastering repairs and maintenance experience in social housing.
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to communicate clearly with residents.
• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
• Recognised trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Asbestos Awareness certification preferred or can be completed prior to start date.
• DBS check may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Complete associated repair works as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service when working in residents' homes.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Work towards agreed deadlines and productivity targets.
• Accurately update job information using the PDA system.

Location: CR0

Pay Rate: £22 CIS

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute break)

MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a Social Housing contractor. The successful candidate will carry out repairs and maintenance works across both occupied and void properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
• Strong plastering skills with the ability to carry out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).

Essential Qualifications
