Job summary

Cybit invites applications for a Project Manager to join our PMO, delivering a wide range of customer projects across cloud, infrastructure, networking, security and managed services. You’ll be the hub between customers and internal teams, ensuring projects run on time, within budget and to high standards.

The role is hybrid, based in Newcastle or Theale, with an annual salary around £40,000 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end customer projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong stakeholder management with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience creating and managing project documentation, including plans, status updates, risk logs and governance reports.
• Proven ability to identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead meetings and reviews.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive and solutions-focused problem solving.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, scope and delivery outcomes.
• Experience in MSP/technology services delivering infra, cloud, networking, security or managed services projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of customer projects from initiation to completion.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, risk logs and status reports.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party suppliers for successful delivery.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and regular progress reviews with customers.
• Manage budgets, schedules, scope and resource allocation.
• Identify, track and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure clear communication among customers, technical teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and escalate concerns when required.
• Support project governance and ensure compliance with delivery processes.
• Facilitate handovers into operational support teams.
• Maintain project documentation throughout lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with customers for positive delivery experience.
• Support with project-related procurement when required.
