Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop retrofit and upgrade solutions for existing equipment. You will translate customer requirements and site conditions into integrated, safe designs and coordinate across project teams on site.

You will contribute to FEED studies, safety reviews and documentation, while ensuring compliance with CDM regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor and 3D modelling is essential; travel to customer and project sites is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; HNC accepted.
Experience delivering retrofit/upgrade projects in greenfield/brownfield environments.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor and 3D modelling.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical solutions for retrofit, modification and upgrade of existing equipment.
Translate customer requirements and site conditions into safe, manufacturable designs.
Coordinate mechanical interfaces across Business Units and site teams.
Contribute to FEED studies, safety reviews and CDM compliance.
Assist in proposal phase with technical input and continuous improvement.
