Job summary

MTrec Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop retrofit, modification and upgrade solutions for existing equipment, using customer requirements, site conditions and 3D laser scan data to design safe, practical installations.

You will connect engineering with on-site execution, support condition assessments, prepare installation methodologies, coordinate interfaces across business units, contribute to FEED studies and safety reviews, and ensure designs are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, with HNC as a minimum.
Experience in greenfield and brownfield environments.
Experience delivering retrofit or turnkey projects.
Experience developing dismantling and installation methodologies.
Understanding of site execution, temporary works and lifting requirements, including crane studies.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical solutions for retrofit, modification and upgrade of equipment.
Create integrated designs from customer requirements, site conditions and 3D laser scan data.
Coordinate mechanical interfaces across Business Units and existing equipment.
Support equipment condition assessments and installation methodologies.
Ensure designs are manufacturable, transportable and installable.
Contribute to FEED studies, technical documentation, safety reviews and CDM compliance.
Provide technical input during proposals and share knowledge within the team.
