Job summary

Ecclesiastical Insurance, part of Benefact Group, is hiring a Marine Leisure Claims Specialist. You will oversee the Marine Leisure claims portfolio and manage complex losses across Hull, Machinery & Equipment, Salvage and Third-Party Liability, delivering high-quality outcomes with strong governance.

The role requires technical marine knowledge, regulatory awareness, and stakeholder collaboration, with a hybrid work model and travel to Gloucester, Manchester or London.

Qualifications

• Qualified or progressing DIP CII or equivalent in Claims.
• Experience in hull, cargo, liability, and P&I claims.
• Strong knowledge of marine insurance principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Marine Leisure claims portfolio with KPI-aligned governance.
• Manage complex and major losses end-to-end from FNOL to settlement.
• Lead investigations with surveyors, loss adjusters, and legal counsel.
• Maintain reserving, identify fraud and recovery opportunities.
• Oversee delegated authority, MGA governance, and audits.
