Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Management Accountant for the Salford/Liverpool area with hybrid working (3 days in the office). You will support month-end reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting within the finance team, while driving improvements across the management accounting function.

The role suits qualified or part-qualified accountants with strong Oracle/Power BI skills and the ability to interact with operational managers. Hybrid work available, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant or part qualified working towards full qualification.
• Ability to produce high quality management information and be commercially aware.
• Proficient with Oracle and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver month-end reporting with quality and timely information and strong controls.
• Analyse monthly variances and provide forecasting commentary for material issues.
• Produce overhead analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliation packs.
• Process monthly journals and support budgeting/forecasting cycles.
• Collaborate with centralised Management Accounting to drive improvements.
