Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing team in Central Lancashire. The hybrid role combines one day in the office with remote work, supporting month-end duties and day-to-day financial transactions across UK & Ireland.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the integrity of financial information, provide analysis, and interact with senior staff to influence decisions. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience across all areas of finance responsibilities.
• Qualified or QBE in ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end entries and post prepayments, accruals and revenue journals.
• Reconcile control accounts and manage working capital.
• Support Finance Manager and ledger processing as needed.
• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly management reporting on time.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with UK & Ireland audits and VAT.
• Provide financial analysis and planning support for business decisions.
• Forecasting and budgeting; monitor performance vs forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and controls.
