Job summary

RG Consultancy near Lymm is seeking a Management Accountant for a full-time permanent role. You’ll join a small finance team and help drive the SME’s financial performance while learning and developing within a growing business.

The role covers month-end journals, management accounts, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, VAT returns, and regular reporting. Hybrid working is possible after an initial settling-in period, with flexible start/finish times.

Qualifications

• Experience in month-end close processes or accruals preferable.
• Ability to reconcile ledgers and investigate discrepancies.
• Comfort with cash flow forecasting and reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation).
• Assist with monthly management accounts production.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain schedules for balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure month-end close is accurate and timely.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
