Wade Macdonald is recruiting a Management Accountant in Manchester for a hybrid role. The successful candidate will own monthly management accounts, support the close process, and help drive financial improvements within a growing technology-focused business.

You will work closely with stakeholders, support tax compliance and year-end activities, and contribute to transitioning from Xero to a new finance system while enhancing reporting capabilities.

Formación

• Part-qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA, you will have solid month-end and management accounting experience.
• Proactive, hands-on accounting mindset with good Excel skills.
• Able to partner with stakeholders and drive process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end close.
• Oversee day-to-day finance activities and ensure timely reporting.
• Support tax compliance, audit prep and year-end requirements.
• Maintain the general ledger including reconciliations and journals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insight for decision-making.
• Assist with finance system change from Xero to new platform.
