Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting a Management Accountant on a Fixed-Term Contract in Hucknall with hybrid working.

You will handle month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and management information for group purposes, plus cross‑functional and international collaboration.

The role also involves audits support, ad‑hoc analysis, and opportunities to drive process improvements within an education-sector finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting or finance business partnering.
• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong Excel, GL accounting, reporting and analytics.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Month-end reporting and management information for Group purposes.
• Balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with finance teams and India transactional reporting.
• Drive finance transformation projects and system changes.
• Support Group audit with external auditors.
• Produce ad-hoc financial analysis and insights.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and financial documentation.
