Job summary

Marc Daniels is seeking a skilled Management Accountant for its Blackburn-based finance team. The role offers hybrid working with 2 days from home and focuses on monthly management accounts, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with non-finance stakeholders and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes in a dynamic technology and services environment.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent), or QBE
• Demonstrable experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within management accounting
• Solid understanding of management accounts, balance sheets, and financial controls

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Management Accounts efficiently
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Business partner with non-finance stakeholders
• Prepare financial reports for senior management
• Manage month-end journals (Accounts Receivable and accounts payable)
• Support VAT returns and external audits
